Children are welcome to join our tours. However, for safety reasons, participation is assessed based on age, physical condition, swimming ability, and sea conditions on the day of the tour.Parents or guardians are fully responsible for supervising their children during the tour.Depending on the child’s condition or ocean conditions, we may require rest breaks or, in some cases, decline participation for safety reasons. Thank you for your understanding.Recommended Age Guidelines by TourYabiji Snorkeling TourBecause this tour is longer than our other tours, we generally recommend elementary school age or older.Children around 5–6 years old may be able to participate if they are strong swimmers and comfortable in the water (for example, attending swimming lessons and enjoying swimming).We can tow children using a float with a viewing window if needed.If you are unsure, please feel free to contact us in advance.Other Snorkeling ToursChildren from approximately 3–4 years old may be able to participate.We provide child-sized snorkeling equipment and life jackets.If a child is not comfortable wearing snorkeling gear, we can tow them on a float with a viewing window.Participation may be declined depending on sea conditions or safety considerations on the day.SUP ToursIf a child is not yet able to paddle independently, they may ride together on an adult’s board.Children who can remain seated calmly are generally suitable.Many children aged around 8–10 are able to paddle on their own.Children riding on the same board as an adult receive a ¥6,000 discount.Photography ToursThere is generally no age restriction for photography tours.However, please take extra care with hydration and heat protection.

For safety and smooth tour operation, we generally require a minimum of two participants per booking (except for photography tours).We operate under a buddy system, where participants look out for each other during the tour.Solo participation is not normally accepted. However, depending on the season and availability, we may be able to accommodate individual guests. Please contact us in advance if you are traveling alone.

In accordance with Okinawa’s Water Safety Regulations, all guests are generally required to wear a life jacket.However, guests with sufficient swimming ability may be permitted to remove their life jacket for skin diving (breath-hold diving), only if our certified skin diving instructor determines that it is safe to do so.If permission is granted, the following conditions apply:You must obtain the guide’s permission before diving.A staff member or buddy must be present at the surface and able to visually monitor the diver at all times.Diving must take place within the area secured by a surface safety float.You must follow all instructions given by the guide and staff.Depending on sea conditions or overall group safety considerations, we may decline requests to remove safety equipment.Thank you for your understanding.

If needed, you may wear one loosely or keep it around your waist.Rental InformationWetsuit rental is available at no additional charge.Quantities are limited, so please inform us in advance if you would like to reserve one.Important Guidelines When Wearing a WetsuitPlease do not wear a wetsuit after applying sunscreen.Sunscreen products strongly adhere to the fabric and are extremely difficult to remove during cleaning and maintenance.If you plan to rent a wetsuit, please apply sunscreen only to exposed areas such as your face and hands, and use it minimally. Wetsuits significantly block UV exposure, so full-body application is not necessary.For hygiene reasons, you must wear swimwear or a thin inner layer underneath the wetsuit.If a wetsuit is returned in a condition requiring special cleaning due to heavy staining or contamination, cleaning fees may be charged.Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Shared ToursFor shared tours, you can choose one of the following payment methods:・Cash payment in Japanese yen on the day of the tour・Advance payment by StripeIf you choose to pay in cash on the day of the tour, please prepare the exact amount, as we may not be able to provide change.If you choose advance payment by Stripe, a 5% processing fee will be added to the tour price.If the tour is canceled by us due to bad weather or sea conditions, the tour fee will be refunded. However, the 5% Stripe processing fee is non-refundable.Credit cards are not accepted on site. If you would like to pay by credit card, please choose advance payment by Stripe.If you require a receipt, please let us know. A PDF receipt can be issued upon request.Charter ToursFor the following private charter tours, advance payment by Stripe is required:・Yabiji Boat Charter・Irabu Island Boat CharterA 5% processing fee will be added to the tour price.Reservations for charter tours are confirmed only after full payment has been completed.If a charter tour is canceled by us due to bad weather or sea conditions, the tour fee will be refunded. However, the 5% Stripe processing fee is non-refundable.

The Yabiji Snorkeling Tour is generally operated with a minimum of 4 guests.・Minimum number of participants: 4 guests・If the total number of participants is fewer than 4, the tour will generally not be operated.・However, the tour can still be operated if the minimum tour fee for 4 guests is paid.・If the minimum number of participants is not reached, we will generally contact you by the evening of the day before the tour to discuss whether the tour can be operated.Even if your booking is for 1–3 guests, the tour can be operated as usual if other guests book the same tour and the total number of participants reaches 4 or more.If the total number of participants is still fewer than 4 by the day before the tour, we will discuss whether to operate the tour with the minimum tour fee for 4 guests, or not operate the tour.Please note that if you do not wish to pay the minimum tour fee for 4 guests, the tour will not be operated because the minimum number of participants has not been reached.Thank you for your understanding.

All photos and videos taken during the tour will be delivered via a shared Google Photos album.Due to operational reasons, we do not create separate albums for each group.All copyrights of the photos and videos belong to Sunnies Miyakojima.You are welcome to use them freely for personal use.Because this is a shared (non-private) tour, other guests may appear in the background of your photos.All guests who joined the tour on the same day will have access to the same shared album.Some selected photos or videos may be used on our website or social media platforms.

If you need to cancel your reservation, please contact us as early as possible, regardless of the reason.For cancellations due to guest circumstances (including illness), the following cancellation fees apply:7 days prior to the tour date until 5:00 PM the day before: 50%After 5:00 PM the day before and on the tour day: 100%No-show: 100%If the tour is canceled by Sunnies Miyakojima due to weather or sea conditions, a full refund will be issued.Charter Tour Cancellation PolicyCharter tours are special private plans that require securing a boat and guide exclusively for your group. Therefore, a separate cancellation policy applies.For charter tours:Cancellations made 14 days prior to the tour date at 12:00 AM (midnight) or later: 100% cancellation fee applies.If you wish to change the tour date, we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, if rescheduling is not possible, the original booking date and cancellation terms will remain in effect.If the tour is canceled by Sunnies Miyakojima due to weather or sea conditions, a full refund will be issued. Please note that credit card processing fees charged by Stripe are non-refundable, even if the tour is canceled due to weather or sea conditions. We appreciate your understanding.

Tours may be canceled or modified at our discretion due to weather conditions or sea conditions.As a general rule, we will notify you of cancellation decisions and offer alternative plans by the evening of the day before your tour.Depending on conditions, a final decision may be made on the morning of the tour.Snorkeling tours operate in light rain, provided there are no hazardous conditions such as high waves, strong winds, or thunderstorms.SUP tours and Drone & Photo tours are canceled in the event of rain.If a tour is canceled by our decision due to weather or safety reasons, no cancellation fee will be charged.
